Covid-19 Testing
School aged children are encouraged to utilize the no cost testing resources provided by the Department of Health. They offer both rapid and PCR testing at 16 different locations, 7 days a week. The Pre K-12 COVID-19 test scheduling service is open to students and staff in Pre K-12 schools and the child care community.

We do offer both rapid PCR and send-out PCR testing in the office. Our new laboratory machine runs multiple tests off of one nasal swab (RSV, Flu, Strep & COVID-19). Almost everyone who comes into the office presenting with ‘sick’ symptoms will likely be swabbed using this method. The results take only 30 minutes. Some school systems are not allowing for a rapid PCR to return, so please identify what is specific to your child for returning to normal activities & inform the medical assistant or secretary. To schedule a sick visit, please contact the office.
To schedule a PCR test (whether it be rapid or send-out) outside in your vehicle without an evaluation, please contact the office. Dependent on your insurance provider, you may be subject to a normal office copay for this.
